if that screen keeps on popping up when trying to use the lg utils u have to download the dll files uploaded by the uberer on page one and replace them by the dll u have in ur lg utils.

Your method worked perfectly on my Arena, but a had to suse Teh_uberer's DLL's. It's a shame though that the firmware I'm using, V10F_00, kind of messed up my phone. Everything seems a little (lot) slower... well, I suppose I should give it a little more time to settle down. LoL

Ok Guys, here is where I am at. I followed the instruction on the first page, I had to download the 2 .dll files provided. The update utility launched and ran the usual checks on the phone. It began to extract the .kdz file (V10P_00.kdz), extraction successful. Then suddenly a Windows box pops up saying: "failed to decode the file you specify"

I have been looking at the log and can´t really see the problem. The only thing I´ve noticed is that in my following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LGMOBILEAX\Phone
, I do not have a folder called "Phone" in the LGMOBILEAX. Is this an issue?  

Another thing I should comment on is that I have tried with the both sets of LGMobileDL.dll (84 KB) and LGMUpgradeDL.dll (440 KB).


I would really apreciate some help on this one and pardon my english, it may not be the best

I have the exact same problem as TestFreak

Guys just use the other method for flashing: UpTestEx. It's easier, fast and it's100% working. Already flashed my phone twice with it. Good luck!

Just did sucessfully flash my Areana with the UpTestEx. I recommend this method!

But one problem still remains.... My SIM-Lock was not removed. Can anyone help me with this?

what firmware did u used? use v10f euro open it's the best. of course if you are from europe...
